Thank you for using PeaceMind ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
1. Data We Collect
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo (when signing in with Google or Apple).
- Voice Data: Audio recordings you make in the app when you choose to narrate a session in your own voice. These recordings are sent to our AI voice provider (ElevenLabs) to generate a synthetic version of your voice, and are used solely to generate your content. See Section 3.
- Usage Data: Listening history, session durations, completed content, and preferences.
- Subscription Information: Purchase history and subscription status (payment details are not stored by us).
- Device Information: Push notification token, operating system, and device type.
- Mood and Preferences: Mood, frequency, and background sound selections made in the app.
- Analytics and Advertising Measurement Data: App usage events (such as sign-ups, sessions created, and purchases), together with device and advertising identifiers, used to understand how the App is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To generate personalized meditations and affirmations.
- To manage your account and verify your identity.
- To provide and manage subscription services.
- To send in-app push notifications (with your permission).
- To save your listening history and progress.
- To improve app performance and user experience.
- To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns using privacy-preserving attribution. We do not track you across other companies' apps and websites for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Sign-In (Google LLC): Authentication. Privacy Policy
- Apple Sign-In (Apple Inc.): Authentication. Privacy Policy
- RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc.): Subscription management. Privacy Policy
- ElevenLabs (ElevenLabs, Inc.): AI voice synthesis. When you choose to narrate a session in your own voice, the voice recording you make in the app is sent to ElevenLabs to generate a synthetic version of your voice. Your recording is used only to create your voice and is not used to train ElevenLabs' models. Privacy Policy
- Google Gemini (Google LLC): AI content generation. The text you enter in the app is processed by Google Gemini to generate your personalized meditation and affirmation sessions. Privacy Policy
- Expo / Firebase (Google LLC): Push notification infrastructure and analytics. Firebase Analytics collects app usage events and device/advertising identifiers to help us understand app usage and measure our advertising. Privacy Policy
- Google Ads (Google LLC) and Apple Search Ads (Apple Inc.): Advertising campaign measurement (attribution). We use privacy-preserving attribution — including Apple's SKAdNetwork and AdServices — to learn which campaigns lead to app installs and subscriptions, without tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. We share personal data with these third-party AI services only as needed to provide the features you request, and only after you have been informed. Each provider is contractually and legally required to protect your data with the same or equivalent level of protection described in this policy.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained while your account is active. To delete your account, open the app and go to Profile → Delete Account. After you confirm, your account is closed and your personal data — including your profile, voice recordings, listening history, and mood logs — is permanently deleted within 30 days. Anonymized subscription and purchase records may be retained where required for financial and legal record-keeping. You can also delete your voice data at any time from within the app.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. All data transfers are conducted over HTTPS.
6. Children's Privacy
PeaceMind is not directed to children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.
7. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing
- Data portability

8. Push Notifications
Push notifications are sent only with your explicit permission. You can disable them at any time through your device settings or the app's settings section.
9. Policy Changes
When we update this policy, we will update the revision date and notify you via in-app notification when required.
